Peixe folha na Indonesia, ocorrendo tambem na Australia e Mar Vermelho.Peixe da familia Nandidae encontrado no sul da asia, tem cabeca pequena e uma grande boca retratil que combinado com sua camuflagem e movimento permite ser um agil predador /Leaffish in Indonesia, occurring also in Australia and Pacific. Asian leaffishes are small freshwater fishes of the Nandidae family, from Southern Asia. There are only four genera in this group.They usually have small heads, cryptical colors and very large protractile mouths. Those features, along with their peculiar movements help them to catch fairly large preys compared to their bodies, including, specially, small fish, aquatic insects and other invertebrates.Their odd leaf-like appearance make them interesting fishes for aquarium hobbyists.
