A igreja eh uma edificacao da decada de 1720/5 e sua construcao foi efetuada por negros escravos. De arquitetura simples, o objetivo desta paroquia era aproximar os negros africanos com a religiao catolica e atualmente este templo faz parte dos monumentos sacro-historicos da capital paraense. / Belem, Para, Brazil. Church of Our Lady of the Rosary of Black Men. Project Atonio Landi architect. Colonial baroque style. The church is a building of the decade of 1720/5 and its construction was performed by black slaves. Simple architecture, the purpose of this parish was approaching black Africans with the Catholic religion and now this temple is part of the sacred-historical monuments of the state capital.
