Built by and named for the New York Central Railroad in the heyday of American long-distance passenger trains, it is the largest train station in the world by number of platforms / O Grand Central Terminal, eh um importante terminal ferroviario e metroviario localizado em Manhattan, Nova Iorque. Foi inaugurado em 1903 com o nome Grand Central Station, que foi oficialmente alterado em 1913. No entanto eh ainda usado para referir este terminal. Eh considerada a maior estacao ferroviaria do mundo em numero de plataformas.
