Grand Central Terminal (GCT) -- often incorrectly called Grand Central Station, or shortened to simply Grand Central -- is a terminal station at 42nd Street and Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan in New York City. Built by and named for the New York Central Railroad in the heyday of American long-distance passenger trains, it is the largest train station in the world by number of platforms / O Grand Central Terminal, eh um importante terminal ferroviario e metroviario localizado em Manhattan, Nova Iorque. Foi inaugurado em 1903 com o nome Grand Central Station, que foi oficialmente alterado em 1913. No entanto eh ainda usado para referir este terminal. Eh considerada a maior estacao ferroviaria do mundo em numero de plataformas.
