Belem do Para, 29/11/2015. Interior da Catedral Metropolitana de Belem, ou Catedral da Se, localizada na Praca Dom Frei Caetano Brandao, na Cidade Velha. As obras da atual edificacao tiveram inicio no ano de 1748, no mesmo local da primitiva igreja. Data dessa epoca a planta geral da igreja e os niveis inferiores da fachada, incluindo o portal principal, de feicao barroca pombalina. Apos algumas interrupcoes, a direcao das obras foi assumida em 1755 por Antonio Jose Landi, arquiteto italiano chegado a Belem em 1753, que deixou vasta obra na regiao. =
Belem do Para, Brazzil. 2015. Interior of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Belem or Catedral da Se, located at The Dom Frei Caetano Brandao Square, in the Old Town. The works of current building began in the year 1748 at the same place of the early church. Dates from this time the general layout of the church and the lower levels of the facade, including the main portal of Pombal Baroque feature. After some interruptions, the direction of the works was taken over in 1755 by Giuseppe Antonio Landi, Italian architect arrived in Bethlehem in 1753, which left vast work in the region.
