Rio Purus, rio brasileiro localizado no estado do Acre, na Amazonia brasileira. .Rio muito sinuoso, de exuberante beleza natural. E o ultimo grande afluente da margem direita do rio Solimoes (nome dado ao rio Amazonas antes do encontro com o rio Negro). Por causa da sua alta riqueza de especies e grande produtividade o rio vem sofrendo grande exploracao antropica: pesca, caca, exploracao madeireira e agricultura familiar./ Purus, river It is a very winding river with white water and lush natural beauty. It is the last major tributary of the right bank of the Solimoes (the name given to the Amazon River before meeting with the Rio Negro). Because of its high species richness and high productivity the river has suffered large operating anthropogenic: fishing, hunting, logging and farming family.
