As Ninfeias incluem varias plantas de flores perfumadas, tendo quatro sepalas verdes e diversas petalas que sao tao grandes quanto as proprias sepalas, com cores variadas: azuis, verdes, brancas, amarelas e em tons de vermelho, conforme as espécies.Dentre as espécies mais conhecidas tem-se o lotus e o nenufar. / ..Nymphaeaceae is the botanical name of a family of flowering plants.
