Parque Estadual de Canudos (PEC), localizado no municipio de Canudos, na porcao nordeste do Estado da Bahia. Local de interesse historico e arqueologico, palco da guerra de Canudos / The Bahian sertao provided the backdrop for one of the most remarkable events in Brazilian history, the rebellion of the messianic religious leader Antonio Conselheiro. Canudos State Park is the site from which the army bombarded the town.
